There will probably always be a foolish, rebellious, adolescent part of my consciousness that will try to act out by imploring me to slam dance, play with fire, and tempt the forces of evil. Though my staid, responsible, adult brain is unlikely to give in to these impulses anymore, thankfully there are groups like Beta Satan of Denmark for all the young people not so constrained. Recently formed from members of Tiger Tunes, the band’s first single, “666,” is everything a bird-flipping teen could love. For proof, just check out this actual fan comment from the band’s site: “OMG! this is something of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard, and when you get to seventeen, you probably heard most of it all.” Sure thing, teenager.
