Production is brilliant, although we’re not sure exactly why. Every song on the album is good, that’s for sure, but a lot of the work would be difficult to call ‘groundbreaking.’ Instead, this is music that is well-crafted and studied: every beat, every sound…everything is in the right place. Sure, you’ve heard the vibes before, the vocoders, et cetera, et cetera. But they just sound really good here.
