And now a brief chat with new supporting member Ryan K.!

Ryan, hi! Thank you so much for supporting. When did you start reading TMN? I think I started about six months ago, then fell off for a bit. I’ve consistently had it open in my phone browser tabs though, so I checked back in frequently.

Well, we’re glad to hear it—what keeps you checking in? It’s a carefully curated list of pertinent news articles from a variety of sources. You’d think, with all the tech resources we have today, that this would be a common thing… but it’s not. Most new sites are all about the jarring headlines and attention-grabbing stories. TMN seems to value the deeper dives, in-depth perspectives, and stories that don’t make as much national media headway (but should).

We definitely do! And we’re glad you do, too. Any particular reason you decided to support today? I’m sick of giving money to corporations—especially as they continue to be bought up and consolidated under individuals who have… ahem… “questionable” motives and goals. Good journalism is important, and it’s worth paying for. In a time when sourcing that good journalism has been more challenging than ever, I really appreciate the curation work done by TMN.
