A music video mashes up Blondie and Star Wars.

We just noticed that Blondie's 1980 version of "Tide Is High"—the reggae song redone by a New York band during to a trip to Los Angeles, in which they tossed in a bunch of modern Mexican mariachi and Cuban percussion—got a music video in which Debbie Harry nearly drowns in her apartment while Darth Vader observes from outer space. They later dance.

The song became the band's third number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Evidently, the force was strong with this one.
