The five questions with the online diarist and illustrator behind Pocketpig.

DOB: 12 March, 1978
What do you do: I chronicle my life in an online diary and supplement it with pictures I draw on my palm—but it’s not a Web log. In real life I’m a recently unemployed webmonkey who wants to be an artist when she grows up.
Favorite Books: I devour books, so my “favorite” tends to be whatever I’ve just finished reading, unless I disliked it and then my “favorite” is whatever I read before that. Right now I’m buying everyone A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket for Christmas.
Heroes: She’ll mock me if she reads this, and my friends will scratch their heads quizzically, but I’m going to say my mom. However, a non-cliched answer would be Anton Corbijn, photographer.
What makes you laugh: Scottel dressed as a pretty-pretty princess, hot pink, and imaginary pet pandas. All three at the same time is even funnier.
Charity worth giving to: One with a cause you really believe in. I donate where I see fit, but I have yet to find the one cause I’m passionate about (it took me a long time to answer that question, and I’m wondering if that makes me a horrible person).
Five words that sound good: See why I hate you
