And now a brief chat with new supporting member Dean H.!
Hi Dean. Thanks so much for supporting TMN! Hello Rosecrans. Thanks for the real-person email message, it’s appreciated!
What brought you to TMN in the first place? Candidly, I have been purchasing the ToB Field Notes notebooks for years. This year, knowing that the funds being raised from the sale of those notebooks were supporting the ALA’s banned books project (or something close to that…!) led me back to your site. Supporting access to literature, and ensuring that authors are appropriately recognized for their contributions ultimately brought me to support your ongoing efforts. Not really sure why I hadn’t done so before now.
Well, thanks to readers like you, the ToB x Field Notes books sold out! And thank you again for supporting—we really appreciate it. Keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll keep reading and caring about unfettered access to books!
