My parents didn’t want me to be a drummer because they were concerned I’d destroy their upholstery practicing rolls with my drumsticks. (This is not an unreasonable concern, if you’ve ever been to a drummer’s apartment.) If only they’d seen this video, they would have known I could destroy so much more—e.g., conceptions of reality.
