Get the TMN Headlines in your inbox
Tuesdays through Saturdays, you’ll receive a daily batch of the most interesting things we find on the web to sharpen your mind and warm your soul. The latest news from the morning papers. The best analysis of what happened last night and last week. New artists we like. Personal essays that moved us. Science films, sports bloopers, and weird news. If it makes us smarter (or pleasantly dumber), we’re interested. And since you’re here, we bet you are too.
Fact: TMN actually started as an email newsletter. It was for employees of one of the first web design firms, Interactive Bureau. Back in 1999, junior employees Rosecrans Baldwin and Andrew Womack assembled it each morning for fellow staff, hence the name. We turned the newsletter public once Blogger.com debuted and made web publishing easy—and we’ve been doing it nearly every weekday ever since.
For book (and literary bloodsport) lovers: the Rooster newsletter
The Rooster newsletter brings you the latest about The Tournament of Books, as well as Camp ToB and every Rooster-related event under the sun.
