And now a brief chat with a recent supporter, Christie K.
Hi, Christie. Thanks so much for supporting TMN! Thank you for being one of my favorite morning stops. I've been reading The Morning News since early 2018. I don't usually click through on the newsy links, though I'm glad they'e there because sometimes I miss important news from other sources.
Which stories do you click on? I most appreciate your newsletter for the bottom third of links. You find interesting items I would never see elsewhere, and I often share what I find.
Very cool. What made you decide to support today? Because I know I would greatly miss your witty subject lines (each one is like a tiny scavenger hunt—what story is that about?) and the breadth of your link roundup if you were to decide it was no longer worth the trouble. I'm one of the fortunate folks to come out of the pandemic financially stronger and am feeling like I want to support the work of people doing things for the love of it. You clearly love TMN and the ToB!
If you enjoy this newsletter, please consider joining Christie by becoming a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation. Your support really does make a difference. Thank you, and we wish you a very safe holiday weekend. 🖤🎆
