And now for a brief Q&A with Tori R., our latest supporter!
Hi Tori! Thank you for your support. Can you tell us when you started reading TMN and/or the ToB? I came across the ToB in grad school. At the time I wasn’t doing much reading outside of coursework, but I loved to read vicariously through the discussions! I subscribed to TMN shortly thereafter.
Fantastic—and what keeps you coming back? The balance of (mostly depressing) news I need to know combined with more interesting and/or uplifting pieces makes the newsletter enjoyable to go through, rather than a chore. And the discussion threads on the ToB, of course.
And finally, why did you decide to support? Well, officially we have our finances back in order after the pandemic, but mostly because I would be very sad if the TMN and ToB stopped appearing in my inbox! It’s rare that I look forward to an email, so I want to do my part in supporting this wonderful work.
Huge thank-yous to Tori and our other supporters. Please consider joining them by becoming a TMN Sustaining Member or donating via PayPal, crypto, or Venmo (open in app). Thank you all for your time, and have a lovely weekend!
