It's dangerous to hate on La la Land

Announced this morning, the Los Angeles love story La La Land picked up 14 Academy Award nominations, tying the record shared by Titanic and All About Eve.

In case you didn't think (ala Tom Hanks) that it was the best movie of all time—here's this viewer's take: great music, great photography, Emma Stone was smashing, but only so-so on story, dancing and production numbers, plus a crummy ending—take heed from Aziz Ansari in the above SNL skit.
