Paul, thank you for your support! Thank you! I was writing up a short post about my current media diet and realized I’ve been reading and enjoying TMN since May 2019, but never subscribed. It’s one of the things that I look forward to daily and is often referenced in my conversations with friends.
That's terrific. We really love to hear it. Tangental: Edith Zimmerman's post about getting mentorship on her “goal of supporting myself with this newsletter by 2022” got me thinking about the economics of creating the content that I find interesting. It’s easy to imagine the business of publishing the New York Times, but much harder for something like TMN. It’s convenient for me to think of y’all as working in some fancy commercial building with a huge staff, even though that’s probably not even close to reality (though I’m OK if y’all are chauffeured to your posh office space every day).
Yeah, it's basically just the two of us in our respective home offices. But we strive to provide! My life has been vastly enriched because creative folks like you are taking the time to provide me with information, delight, and a sense that maybe this life isn’t so bad after all.
