Hi, Lizzie. Are you up for a quick chat? I love that you do the little Q&As with supporters—very cool.
When did you start reading TMN and/or the ToB? I'm new to TMN but I've really been enjoying the variety of articles you present. It's not all news--that's just too depressing of late! I like a mix of breaking news, long-form articles, and fascinating reads (cuttlefish! I loved that article). A coworker introduced me to the ToB and I found TMN as a result. I work at a bookstore (shoutout to Napa Bookmine!), so naturally the ToB is a must.
Shoutout, Napa Bookmine! Out of curiosity, what keeps you coming back? Checking the news can be overwhelming right now, but TMN presents such a variety of articles each day that I'm not a vibrating mass of anxiety after reading. I can read a breaking headline, then change to something interesting (like the one of the paralyzed man using his thoughts to move a robotic arm).
I loved that story. Last question: why did you decide to support today? For me, it's important to support great people doing great work, and you all are doing just that. Thanks for making me a little smarter each day!
