And now a brief chat with a new supporter, Annie M.!
Hi, Annie! When did you start reading TMN? A year ago, plus or minus. I found TMN via the Tournament of Books, which I think I found via a Reddit or Goodreads post, or something like that. I was drawn to TMN more than the ToB, so I bookmarked TMN and keep coming back. I share a lot of what I see on your site with friends, colleagues, and family.
That's terrific to hear! Can we ask, what keeps you coming back? The curation aligns with my interests and piques my curiosity, and takes me to places on the web that I otherwise wouldn’t find on my own. I am not on social media and prefer to read news, so this has helped fill a void after Twitter went to shit and I left.
Why did you decide to support today? I recall you stating something about the need for financial support to sustain what you do. I use an adblocker religiously, so it seemed like the right thing to do, to try not to lose something cool. (Like, my fave podcast of all time, The Truth, stopped producing because they weren’t financially sustainable and I lament the loss.)
🚨 Thank you, Annie! Hi, this is Rosecrans, and I'm here to say that Annie's right (and we thank her and our other members so much)—Andrew and I can only do this because some of you support our work. Help us keep rolling by pledging your support today—and thank you!
