And now a brief chat with a recent Sustaining Member, Michael S.!

Michael, hello again! When did you start with TMN? I first started reading The Morning News about a dozen years ago. In mid-life, I had gone to grad school and a writing instructor recommended TMN to the class, saying that some of the best writing on the web could be found there.

How terrific. Thank you, professor! Eventually, I was inspired to send TMN a personal essay, which was expertly edited and (thankfully) published. My piece is still online, and even today—over a decade later—I get the occasional rewarding comment about it.

That's so cool. Any particular reasons why you decide to join the supporters rank today? Every day, TMN offers some of the best-curated content you can find. So here it is, thousands of mornings after I first discovered TMN, and I continue to be inspired, informed, and woken up by this unique publication.

BIG thanks to Michael and everybody else who has become a Sustaining Member (🌱) or made a one-time donation (🌿) to support TMN. We're here for you because you're here for us!
