And now a brief chat with a recent Sustaining Member, Michelle C.
Hi Michelle! You found us through Field Notes, is that right? Yes, my introduction to TMN was via Field Notes (I'm a field nut) and I am ecstatic every year when the new Rooster book comes out in February. (I have them all going back to 2015, even though I had to purchase some on eBay and trade for some in the Nuts group since I've been a Nut for only about a year and a half.)
Incredible. Who knew? And you're a ToB follower—what do you enjoy about it? I love the brackets and the head-to-head combat between books. I first became aware of the ToB last year but I didn't really know what it was about. I was more educated this year and read three of the books. I am enamored with the idea that a live rooster is a prize, although I worry about the rooster going to a good home and not, say, an Alice Cooper concert.
Yeah, well, the winner turned us down yet again ;) Out of curiosity, why'd you decide to support today? I decided to support TMN because it's up my alley with the news and the cool ToB brackets, the adorable rooster logo, and the 50% off in the shop. Plus, you gotta support what you love. I like the vibe this place gives off. Don't know how else to put it.
SUCH BIG THANKS to Michelle and all of our supporters. If you haven't yet, please take a moment and consider supporting this newsletter by becoming a Sustaining Member or donating via PayPal or crypto. Thank you! 📓🌼
