And now a brief chat with a new Sustaining Member, Andrea C.!
Hi, Andrea. You said you're a Tournament of Books super fan. When did you start? I was hooked in 2011. Having two sons in 1999 and 2002 derailed my ability to read as much as I like. I think I forgot how much I love to lose myself in reading. Franzen's Freedom in 2011 and Murakami's 1Q84 in 2012 got me back in the swing and I've been following the ToB avidly (and reading like crazy) ever since.
How did you hear about us in the first place? I don't remember! I must have seen something on social media?
Well, we're so glad you're here! Thank you to the ToB for expanding my reading horizons and being one of the only places on the interwebs where smart people discuss and disagree in a way that is civil and exhilarating!
THREE BOOKS of thanks to Andrea and our other supporters! Are you a regular reader or ToB fan? Please consider becoming a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation today. 📚
