And now a brief chat with a new Sustaining Member, Caitlin P.!

Hey, Caitlin! Thanks so much for supporting. What brings you here? I'm here for the Tournament of Books! I think I ran into ToB in 2015. The lighthearted approach and tongue-in-cheek search for the 'best book of last year' and the opportunity to read several different takes on the same novel keep me coming back.

Can we ask, why did you decide to support today? After years of grad school and part-time work, I finally feel able to support some of the amazing projects that I've enjoyed over the years, like ToB. I'm glad I finally became a supporter.

That's incredible. Thank you so much. I once spent an evening drafting a syllabus for an upper-division level English class that would be structured like the Tournament of Books. It would be a fun way to teach book reviewing—a sport I haven't gotten into yet, but sometimes think about.

💜 BIG thanks to Caitlin and all of our supporters. Become a TMN Sustaining Member or donate via PayPal, crypto, or Venmo (open in app). 💜
