And now a brief chat with a new Sustaining Member, Jodi E.

Hi, Jodi! When did you start reading TMN? All the way back in 2003!

Incredible—that's approaching two decades! What brought you in the first place? I was still working as a corporate lawyer then, and at 90 hours a week I didn't have time to keep up with the news. I stumbled upon TMN's Headlines and loved that it kept me updated about interesting and important events around the world, but also spotlighted more creative things to read at the same time. I've been a reader ever since.

That's wonderful to hear. Any kind of TMN-adjacent anecdote to share? You've kindly featured my writing a few times over the years, and every time you do I get very excited emails from readers who found me there and wanted to let me know. After reading TMN for decades myself, it was so wonderful to see my work on the site.

So many thanks to Jodi and all of our supporters. Please, if you have a moment, consider becoming a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation to support The Morning News. Happy weekend. 🏄
