And now a brief chat with a new Sustaining Member, Andrea K.

Hi, Andrea! When did you start reading TMN? I can’t remember the exact year, but I know I’ve subscribed to the newsletter for several years; I think it may be close to 10. (Sorry it took me so long to contribute haha.)

Thank you for supporting! Do you have something you enjoyed in the newsletter recently? I do—it’s actually very recent! A newsletter from late January or early February linked to an article about a writer who says Jacques Pépin saved his life. It was an amazing article and made me realize how much I love Jacques Pépin. And also food, because I was starving after I read it lol. I’m now obsessed with his recipes and have been inspired to start cooking again after literally years of nothing but takeout. Not a terribly crazy story but the article meant quite a lot to me.

Supporters like Andrea make this newsletter possible! Find out why we ask for your support and please consider becoming a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation today.
