And now for a brief Q&A with one of our newest supporters, Matthew R.!
Hello Matthew! Can you tell us when you started reading TMN and/or the Tournament of Books? I learned of the ToB in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the concept.
And what brought you in the first place? Books have been a source of joy for me. I can pick one up and escape into an adventure. But everyone knows, adventures are more fun when you experience them with others. During the pandemic, many of my book clubs either fell apart or muddled forward with virtual meetings. So ToB filled in the gap. I get great book suggestions and enjoy the conversations.
Wonderful. Anything else you want to add? I have never been into March madness or betting brackets, until now.
I know, right? And why did you decide recently to support? Through the work you do to create the ToB, you have created a community and who doesn’t like a good bracket! I am grateful! Thank you.
Thank YOU, Matthew, and thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. If you haven't already, please join them by becoming a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation.
