And now a chat with a new Sustaining Member, Monique!

Hi, Monique! You found us through the Tournament of Books, yeah? A brilliant and well-read friend mentioned the ToB to me. I liked the concept and thereafter began to follow both the March madness and the summer Camp. Also, I had moved to Chicago from Austin in 2015 and subscribed to the Sunday Tribune. John Warner’s column was always one of my favorites and he kindly published recommendations for me on March 3, 2019. At the time, I only knew him as The Biblioracle and didn’t realize he was also associated with the ToB.

We love John! Out of curiosity, any particular reason you decided to become a Sustaining Member today? I wanted to buy a Rooster T-shirt and mug this year, so I took advantage of the 50% savings by becoming a supporter—a purely self-serving act in and of itself! (Plus I get to read TMN, too!) However, I do believe all of you hardworking writers, editors, and other creative people deserve to have patronage! You all bring me much enjoyment and enlightenment.

We are incredibly grateful 🙏 for support from Monique and everybody else. Please take a moment to find out why we ask for your help, and consider joining us as a Sustaining Member or making a one-time donation today.
