You think you have inbox problems? Imagine if you just won the Nobel Prize.
The astronomers Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz won Nobel Prizes this week for their 1995 discovery of a Jupiter-like planet orbiting a nearby star. Here's Mayor recently checking his email in an airport:
Swiss astrophysicist Michel Mayor (77) realizing he just won the Nobel Prize in Physics and seeing all the incoming messages on his laptop. He was on a lecture tour in Spain. Here he is at the San Sebastian airport. In 1995, Mayor and fellow Swiss astronomer Didier Queloz discovered 51 Pegasi b, the first extrasolar planet orbiting a sun-like star, 51 Pegasi. It was for this achievement, that they were awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics. #science
