Letters From the Editor

Attention Screenwriters

I've noticed an abundance of horror films over the past few years, the premises of which involve a thing that somehow somebody gets a hold of that winds up killing them. Like The Ring, where a videocassette is traded around, and whomever sees it is later dies. Or that one where people go to the web site and it kills them. Or the new one that's currently being advertised, Stay Alive, which appears to be the same thing, but with a video game. I'm not criticizing the genre, I'm just suggesting a new twist: fortune cookies. Run with it. (I will go on the record as saying "Misfortune Cookies" might make a nice working title, but nothing more. Don't want you to get all Snakes on a Plane or anything.)
