Podcast, schmodcast. I'm not sure what the hubbub is about--it's just a bunch of audio files. While you're waiting for the next installment of Johnny Dollar, Insurance Investigator, I'm already listening to all of Steve Martin's Pure Drivel. I can dork out with tales of wily Filipinos, anthropomorphized verbs, celebrity inventions, and sledgehammers from a book published when McSweeney's was still in short pants. And if I want, I can listen to one track a week and feel as if I'm on the cutting edge, just like you and your podcasts.
