I am a fan of the Non-Expert’s expertise, which has been useful to me on occasion, especially your answer to the “Women: What For?” question.

My affection compels me to write when the Non-Expert is less than correct, which is rare.

In the case of the conclusion to the first item in “Removing,” a good quip was diminished by the substitution of “New York City” for “Manhattan.” Oh, and by the fact that Target is good, not bad. Target has two locations in New York. And until the third one opens, over the LIRR yards near BAM, I recommend the Queens Boulevard location. Just take the 59th Street Bridge, then it’s straight, straight, and straight ahead.
